By taking part in our immersive one week summer camps students in grades K-8 will gain a high-level understanding of a particular STEM topic. We at HumanWho encourage elementary school students to get involved with STEM as early as possible, and our summer camps are a great way to start! For middle school students it is imperative that they begin to figure out their interests in STEM so they can take more focused classes throughout high school. 

By completing these camps, students will receive a certificate of completion for completing team projects and working through curriculum.

Middle School Camps

Web Development Camp (Grades 6-8)

  • Website Structure, Function, and Planning

By taking part in our immersive web development course, students will gain a high-level understanding of website structure, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By the end of the week, students will be able to design and develop their own website.   

Robotics Camp (Grades 6-8)

  • Introduction to Competition Robotics
  • Engineering Design Process
  • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
  • Angular Motion, Linear Motion, General Mechanics
  • Circuit Building

Taught by a world class roboticist, our robotics camp is for students who are looking to further their interests in engineering and technology. Through this camp students will be learning high-level robotic programming and building skills and will also be introduced to oppurtunities to get involved with robotics at a middle/high school level.

Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Camp (Grades 6-8)

  • Introduction to AI/ML, Overview Map, Tools

Artificial intelligence and machine learning prove are revolutionizing how indivudals go about their day to day. A through understanding of AI/ML offers students new technological approaches to real world problems. In this one week course, students will gain a better understanding of computational methds and learn ways to implement high level AI/ML. 

Competition Math Camp (Grades 6-8)

  • PEMDAS and PEMDAS applications
  • Triangular Geometry
  • Quadratic Formula
  • Substitution, Elimination, and Graphing
  • Review, Test and Competition

Through our competition math camps, students will prepare for international math competitions and olympiads. They will learn tips and tricks for doing well on competition math and also review foundational concepts for such competitions.

Pre-Med Immersion Camp (Grades 6-8)

  • Overview of Life Sciences
  • Introduction to Human Anatomy
  • Medical History/Innovation
  • Overview of Physical Sciences
  • How to Start Early on the Pre-Med Track: What classes and extracurriculars to take throughout middle school and high school to set you up on the Pre-Med track

Our Pre-Med immersion camp is designed for students who are particularly interested in exploring the medical profession. We encourage students who enjoy learning science and biology to join this course to learn how to take their passion for science to the next step and apply it to set themselves on the pre-medical track. Our bonus end-of-week Q/A session for parents and students is a great way for students and parents to learn about differentiating a pre-medical profile. 

Entrepreneurship Immersion Camp (Grades 6-8)

  • Identifying a Viable Problem
  • Conducting Primary Market Research
  • Analyzing Key Features of Solution and Synthesizing Solution Design
  • How to Build Your Solution: Overview of creating an app, platform, and tangible product
  • Pitch Day: Students present their companies thus far and top companies are given monetary investments by panelists

Our unique Entrepreneurship Immersion Camp allows middle school students to gain a high-level understanding of the entrepreneurial process as they will work through starting their own companies. Students will be taught to identify viable issues in their community and effectively problem solve to come up with large scale solutions. At the end of the week, students will present their companies and top companies will gain monetary investment by the panelists
